Use the Data Centre

The HEADSpAcE Data Centre is committed to facilitating the use of head and neck cancer data by the wider research community for research within its scientific mandate. Investigators who are interested in accessing the HEADSpAcE data are invited to submit a research proposal as detailed below. After assessing the feasibility, investigators complete the HEADSpAcE Data Access Proposal, which includes information about the investigator’s team; the background, aims, and methods of the proposed project; the cohorts and variables requested; the project timeline; and specification of any conflicting interests. The completed HEADSpAcE Access Proposal Form should be submitted here. The proposal will be evaluated by the HEADSpAcE Data Use Committee to ensure that the proposal falls within the HEADSpAcE scientific mandate, and to assess the scientific relevance and feasibility of the proposed analysis and the potential overlap with other ongoing analyses within HEADSpAcE. After approval from the committee, the cohorts from which data are requested can choose whether or not to participate in the proposed analysis.

The HEADSpAcE data can be accessed through the processes outlined in the HEADSpAcE Access Policy and Publication Guidelines for any publication arising from the use of HEADSpAcE data.
